CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
Good care looks

GOOD CARE LOOKS AFTER EVERYONE
Honest details.
A safer first hello.
Before first-time care, disclose previous bites, attempted bites, aggression, resource guarding, and known triggers. A meet-and-greet helps assess the fit; Love Bug may decline or stop care that cannot be provided safely.
Let's discuss coverage, too.
Ask your insurer whether your liability policy covers your pet injuring a paid caregiver, including away from your home. Pet medical insurance addresses a different risk. Client coverage does not replace Love Bug's own appropriate business and worker-injury protection.
Proposed intake process. Love Bug's insurance, any client coverage requirements, and final terms must be confirmed with its insurance broker before bookings open. No insurance coverage is promised by this preview.
GOOD QUESTIONS. THOUGHTFUL ANSWERS.
Before the first
hello.
Care starts with a conversation with your caregiver.
Is Love Bug accepting bookings yet?
This is our website concept. The planner lets you create a care brief, but booking, payments, caregiver availability, and customer messaging are not connected yet.
How is this different from a pet-care marketplace?
Love Bug is a solo pet-care business. your caregiver handles the care and pickups herself, with one clearly explained direct quote. Requests depend on availability; there is no automatic caregiver matching.
Can cats get care, too?
Yes—our proposed menu includes cat drop-ins and house sitting. Boarding would depend on a suitable cat-friendly setting and a meet-and-greet.
What about medication or special needs?
Please disclose all medical, mobility, and handling needs before booking. Our everyday-care service does not include administering medication or providing veterinary treatment. We assess whether we can safely meet each pet’s routine care needs before accepting a booking.
Are the listed prices final?
No. These are proposed direct-care rates. The estimator includes selected extra pets and member savings. Holidays, transport, extended care, taxes, and availability would be confirmed in a written quote.
Can you pick up pet supplies?
Yes, as a proposed optional extra: $15 for one nearby prepaid pickup within 5 miles of the care location. Supplies are paid separately. Shopping, additional stops, or longer trips require an agreed quote. No substitutions without your approval.
What safety information will be available?
Before launch, Love Bug will need to publish its verified caregiver screening process, coverage details, emergency procedures, and cancellation terms. This concept makes no claim of current insurance, screening, or emergency coverage.
Post-walk cleanup disclaimer.
Post-Walk Freshen-Up is limited to gentle paw wiping and towel-drying, with the owner’s approval and only while the pet is comfortable with handling. It does not include bathing, grooming, nail trimming, ear cleaning, medication administration, or veterinary treatment. We stop if a pet shows distress or cannot be handled safely.
